Nintendo has announced the final Tetris 99 Maximus Cup for 2024, set to take place from December 19 to December 23. This special event will celebrate the popular battle royale game’s 44th Maximus Cup, featuring a theme inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
To participate in the event, players will need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. During the event period, players will earn event points based on their placement in each match1. Once a player accumulates 100 event points, they will unlock a special theme, complete with art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by the Zelda game.
